Man of Steel

Oh no, i won't be talking about the recently released hollywood movie 'Man of Steel'. Its just not worth my time and effort.
A very sad and inhumane incident happened regarding the devastation of the residence of Quiad-e-Azam Muhammed Ali Jinnah in Ziarat, Balochistan. My heart cries out after such a disrespect of our Quiad. I just couldn't contain myself to not say a word or two to condemn this incident and express my gratitude and honor for a Man who set a foundation of our country on the World map. He was a Man of Steel and is a great inspiraion for me. I just love him for everything he was and he did for the muslims of subcontinent and his die-hard efforts, hard-word, determination and foresightedness for a separate muslim country. A country we have today, Pakistan, with all the choices and freedom of a motherland.
Sadly, due to certain external forces and intruders who are trying their best to divide Pakistan based on nationalist groups & separatists focusing on creating hatred and ethinic conflicts among us. In order to pursue power and instigate fear in the community, such horrific and shameful examples are set, and none other than getting aid from those external figures who don't want peace and unity among the people of Pakistan. Its time we should smarten' up and act accordingly, and that time is Now. Instead of cursing and blaming eachother, lets curse and fight those who create such malice and malevolence. Islam teaches brotherhood, lets have some heart to show it to our brothers and sisters of our faith. For heavens sake, lets not call ourselves Punjabi, Sindhi, Baloch or Pathan for once. Lets not confuse culture, dress, language, skin color, way of life, religious affinity and geographical differences with our Muslim identity and "Khudara" to not be a threat to the safety of our dearest Pakistan. Lets savour Freedom, free our thoughts from the confinements of Satan and rise above and beyond nationalism.
Fortunately, there are people who do care with their heart and soul and they are contributiong tremendously for this cause. They are persistent to unveil those black sheeps and courageous enough to speak their minds.
Tahira Baloch from Bolan TV, is one such fearless person trying her best to make a significant difference in such dire circumstances in present Balochistan. I came across her Facebook page just randomly, i guess out of luck. Her expressive patriotism and love of Pakistan speaks so profoundly that it inspires me, not to mention various threats to her life. May you be protected and guided by Almighty.
Lastly, we do not want another Bangladesh or civil wars/threats among us. Its time to be wise and anti-racist at individual level.

  1. Good one and agreed on what you have said, but real face or rather real story is not what we are perceiving.

Obviously this is not the solution of the problem in Baluchistan but once you are ignored and hurt for a very long time you can expect any sort of response from the victims.

Since the birth of Pakistan, the Baluchistan was kept on ignore list of Pakistani government.

The biggest gas field Sui was discovered in Baluchistan and when you see the pipeline map all the pipeline is routed to Punjab and Sindh with majority of gas in Punjab. Baluchistan is not given a 2% share of it considering they are the owner (in ethical sense) this field.

Whenever an Oil or Gas field is discovered the first beneficiary is always the local community and after that something remains is sold or distributed to other areas.

This is what happening in Middle east. First they fulfill the requirements of locals then at national level and remain is sent to other countries. And over to it the oil is provided at subsidize price for locals and nationals from the original international price.

After reading above what you expect from Baluchis? For more than 60 years they are bearing this ignorance. No development projects in Baluchistan with the fact that they are producer of Pakistan's biggest gas supply.

We in punjab and sindh are enjoying or after now gas crises enjoyed the benefits and local people are still struggling there for education and other civic amenities.

Gawadar, once the part of Oman was gifted to Pakistan. At that time many Balochis migrated to Oman and they are Omani nationals now and enjoying a good healthy and secure life and none of them so called extremist. They are so much humble and down to earth people. And I presume the similar will be the case in our Baluchistan.

So this is the real story. Why they do not ask for separate state? Why they live like that once they know in their soil there is hell more potential of natural resources which is still undiscovered. They know very well if they allow government to explore more resources it will straight go to benefit Punjab and Sindh.

I am not saying by demolishing Quaid's residency they have done right. This is not at all right. But to stop such incidences government has to prove to them that yes Baluchi people you are Pakistan.

  2. yes, Balochistan has been neglected for a long long time and other provinces has used up its natural resources.
Out of this neglectance and lack of development, does it suit baloch people to destroy their own resoources(few years ago, gas pipelines was bombed), create terror, killings, knock-down buildings and much more?
This hatred and anger should be towards government and to those people who are responsible for this, not towards innocent people and it never should be towards weakening Pakistan and/or dividing it. Its just sad!

  3. this is what I mentioned, pipeline is not their resource. Their resource is what is travelling in that pipeline towards punjab and sindh.

And pipeline bombing issue is not happened once. It has been happening at various location since the production of gas started.
